Extended DISC

Leadership Development
Organizational Development
Communication and Interaction Skills Training
Sales Training
Customer Service Training
Coaching

The success of Extended DISC® is based on its strong ability to provide information for better decision making.  Too often assessments tell us what we already know; if a tool only provides information that the user is already aware of, it has very limited value. What makes Extended DISC® different from other assessments is that it is able to measure the hard-wired behaviours to exclude the impact of the environment.

Extended DISC® Individual Assessments

Individual Assessments are self-assessments that identify the strengths and development areas of an individual.  Extended DISC® Individual Assessments are designed to provide information that makes an impact, is actionable and, most importantly, has a positive impact on performance.

Extended DISC® Work Pair Analysis

The Work Pair Analysis tool is designed to provide information that allows two individuals to take action that will have a positive impact on their performance.

The Work Pair Analysis tool combines the results of two individuals into one, user-friendly report. It identifies the styles of the individuals, how the styles complement one another, and where the behaviour gaps exist.

One of the very popular features of Work Pair Analysis tool is that it clearly demonstrates that while two similar styles often get along well, they not only amplify their strengths, but also their weaknesses. As a result, their performance is not optimal. Typically the employees are not aware of this fact losing a lot of time and money.

Extended DISC® Work Pair Analysis is a very powerful tool, it is easy to use and very cost effective.

Work Pair Analysis can help if you are:

  • Spending too much money and time resolving employee conflicts.
  • Unhappy with your current new employee onboarding process.
  • Losing productivity and money due to interpersonal issues.
  • Uncertain how to best assign responsibilities.
  • Forced to make important employee decisions without specific and clear information.
  • Tired of dealing with the some employee issues over and over again.

Extended DISC® Team Analysis

The Extended DISC® Team Analysis is a tool that can combine all of the individual assessment results into one report. It shows the team dynamics, the strengths and development areas of the team, and illustrates how the team members are adjusting their behaviours in the existing work environment.

The Team Analysis provides a clear, easy-to-use framework to understand complex issues quickly, to solve problems and to improve performance. It also presents a safe environment to discuss challenging topics productively. Team Analysis provides the big picture that enables decisions to be made with confidence.

Team Analysis is capable of assessing an unlimited number of individuals. As a result, it enables our clients to perform various, more complicated analyses very cost effectively. Some of these applications include identification of the effective behaviours (leadership, management, sales and customer service), succession planning and strategic decision making.

Extended DISC® Personal Analysis 360? Feedback

The Personal Analysis 360 tool is a unique 360 feedback tool that allows an assessor to communicate how he/she perceives the behavioural style of others and how he/she would like others to modify their behaviours for better performance.

The tool has no good/bad categories, making it impossible for the assessors to intentionally provide good or bad feedback. Assessors cannot “get back at others” or try to make others “look good”. Also, the results will clearly show how an individual’s biases affect his/her assessments of others.

Extended DISC® Job Analysis

Extended DISC® Job Analysis answers the question: “What are the specific behavioural requirements for this job that will produce the desired results?”

Job Analysis tool enables the users to identify and to prioritize the specific behaviours that will produce the best results in specified jobs.  The results are specific to the organization.  The Job Analysis is designed to ensure that reasonable and realistic expectations are created, and that the different viewpoints of the assessors are clearly defined.

The assessors respond to a Job Analysis questionnaire.  Typically, it takes about 30 minutes to complete.  When the questionnaires are completed, the Job Analysis takes care of the rest.  It scores the report immediately. The behavioural requirements are stored in the system’s database. Once the job requirements are shaped, the results of Extended DISC® Individual Assessments can be compared to the Job Analysis results in order to identify development needs and a behavioural job fit.

Questionnaires are available for the following job categories:

  • Leadership
  • Sales Style
  • Customer Service
